Why Reagan Deserves Benefit of Doubt on Racism

Submitted by Richard Espinoza, Nov 19, 2007 13:41

For anyone to think that President Ronald Reagan is a racist is simply out of their mind. Ronanld Reagan both as a Governor of my home state of California and President was very class act. President Reagan for all the people. If you read his Autobiography, he visted a Black Family who was a victim of a hate crime from their home. President Reagan and along with the first lady Nancy Reagan went to meet the family in person at their home. If you look at the facts and the facts to do lie, the Republican Party has done a lot of civil rights. The only reason why President Reagan has been targeted as a racist is because he was public enemy one to the liberals. Keep in mind Reagan was once a liberal Democract. He left the Democract Party and spoke out againts govement and socialized Medicine. That is why the liberals hated him and they willing to say anyting negative about him just to get attention.
