I heard Ms. Argerich on Thursday and returned on Friday (along with many others ) to hear the vibrant, awesomely engaging excitement and musical magic of her performance of the Prokofiev Piano Concerto. The fact that this music critic was incapable of appreciating what enthralled everyone else in the audience is an indication that he must have been dropped on his head as a little boy (and very hard at that).

Fire him and replace him with someone who understands music.
