The Iraq Movie Flop

Make a movie about the Iraq war that displays success and heroism and it will do well. Make a movie about how the Iraqis themselves came to the decision to side with America over al Qaeda, based on what they learned about our great men and women serving over there, and it will do well.

You may not know this, but the Civil War was also very poorly fought until the right general/strategy was implemented. Abraham Lincoln was brutally savaged by his own party for his management of the war... until he achieved some victories on the ground and ultimate triumph. He never wavered, and never gave in to the calls for a compromised solution with the slavery issue. Much like our current President also will not compromise when it comes to our enemy. And history will be kind to him.
