Another "brilliant" idea by Spitzer — tax the "rich" even more. In parts of the state two people working in the family puts you in the threshold of "rich." We are not talking about people who are born rich, with silver spoons like Spitzer! Spitzer, Hillary, and company would lead you to believe that the rich are those who have limos, mansions and spend their days traveling the world on wonderful vacations. The reality is that many who fall into their "rich" category are electricians, plumbers, and even state workers and their spouses, who are working hard to survive in this overtaxed state.

Another reality is that one of our greatest NYS revenue sources is tax on Wall Street bonuses. Companies are already talking about moving out of NYC to other states. Let's give them one more reason to go... great idea!

Heaven forbid that we would try to rope in Medicaid (NYS is the national leader in Medicaid spending — costing over $2000 per resident, even surpassing California) or approach reducing education spending in creative ways.

With all of the Spitzer administration Ivy League brains, one would think that they could promulgate policies that are cutting edge, not cliche!

Spitzer is a terrible disappointment!
