The movies you mention are not "Iraq War" movies, they are anti-war propaganda. If a movie were to be made about the heroism and dedication of our military, and the heart-warming scenes we are now seeing from the Iraqis, I'd bet it would fare far better. Since such a movie doesn't exist, and it's chances of being made are slim to none, it will have to remain a conjecture.
The left is fond of citing the "vast majority" of Americans are against the war, distorting the truth as they often do. Americans turned against the war when it appeared we were not fighting to win. An Iraq war movie along the lines of "The Sands of Iwo Jima" or "30 Seconds Over Tokyo", or even "Casablanca" would attract viewers. Most Americans love their country, and don't spend $10 to go to a movie to be lectured. They expect the US to fight to win, and turn away in disgust from PC rules of engagement.
