I think that it is about time the rich started paying. Any one earning over $100,000.00 a year should be paying at the same % rate as a working slob making $25,000.00. Also the gap between what a married person pays in taxes and what a single person pays should be made a lot smaller or better yet eleminated all together. Stop and think a minute what a FLAT TAX could do for our state. Example, you make a dollar you send the gov. 10 cents. with no exceptions. 10% no matter how much you make. $100,000.00 = $10,000.00 in taxes. $25,000.00 = $2500.00 in taxes. The next time you look at the tax book think what this would do .
