Clinton Criticizes Obama's Foreign Experience

Submitted by Nelwyn Axe, Nov 22, 2007 02:34

To ridicule Barack Obama for citing his childhood years spent in Indonesia as experience for leading American foreign policy is undue and incorrect. Everyone knows that a person's ideals, thoughts and decisions in adulthood are shaped by the sum of his/her childhood experiences. Obama's multi-national exposure to people and places, his growing up in America as a racially mixed child with all its attendant adversities and triumphs, his formal and informal education plus his experience in state and federal government have all blended together into a man of compassion, integrity, intelligence, common sense and self-control. He values marriage and family. He can make a decision based on intelligent reasoning and logical thought even if it goes against the majority (he voted against invading Iraq). He is not a sheep. He has the desire and ability to bring opposites together to acceptable compromise with fairness to all, whether foreign or domestic. He has no undesirable baggage. He is the most electable. He is the man for our times. The world will respect and love him. Vote for real change in Washington. Vote for Barack Obama. Let's elect a president we can present to the world with pride.
