Saw a link to this article at www.polijam.com As a parent myself, I don't begrudge a single woman or homosexual couple finding a way to have a child. What I find difficult is the acceptance by society that not only is this OK, but it is on the verge of becoming the preferred way. As the author says, sex is becoming a lifestyle, a form of recreation divorced from procreation. Is it a wonder that more and more children are born out of wedlock, and raised in single parent household? Yes, some committed and well-off parents can still raise well-adjusted children under these circumstances, but many cannot. Ultimately, we will all pay the consequences.
