Those, like myself, who have supported President Bush are (or should be) dismayed by what sure looks like an administration in collapse since the election.

Is it any surprise that Democrats and Republicans like Arlen Specter sense weakness and even panic in the White House?

However, we should temper our criticism of these opportunist Senators to save embarrassment later.

For....who will be surprised to see Secretary of State Rice herself paying court to Mr. Assad in Damascus within a month or two?
