Hevesi Case Backfiring on Spitzer
in response to reader comment: The Public Has Spoken

Submitted by Matthew Schutz, Dec 14, 2006 07:44

Just because the public has spoken does that mean we should tolerate corruption? It seems beyond question at this point that Mr. Hevesi is guilty of criminal behavior. Should President RM Nixon been retained in his office despite his crimes? Should President BJ Clinton not have been impeached despite his criminal behavior? This is not the first time Mr hevesi has done the very thing he is accused of here. He ran into trouble when he was NYC Comptroller for the very same thing, with the same people. Alan Hevesi should be removed and prosecuted. If he is convicted, punished to the full extent of the law.
