Why would American want to spend their hard earned dollars on watching Robert Redford's or Brian De Palma's anti-American rantings about a couple of soldiers who might have gone off the rails. Those few men (4 out of the 500,000 or so who've gone through Iraq = .0008%) do not in any way represent our troops in any meaningful way and we Americans know it.
Our troops are the creme of the crop. Maybe Redford et al. should look into all the the child rape/slavery going on in Africa at the hands of the UN. Maybe they could sell that to the Europeans who are most involved. I'm sure they'd sell tickets like hotcakes.
And just to reiterate about this 'mismanaged' war... You do know we've lost something over 3,000 troops in over 4 years, right? You are also aware that during Vietnam we lost over 50,000, over 46,000 in Korea and in World War II we lost over 400,000. I'm not sure how you define 'mismanaged,' but considering how incredibly low our casualties have been relative to previous wars, things seem to be much better from that perspective. Show me a 'perfect' war where bad decisions weren't made.
