While there may be, as you say, "20 million self-righteous and embittered Muslims in Europe — and 430 million soi-disant Euro-weenies." that does not lead to the conclusion that it will be a "couple of hundred years at least" before the "former overwhelm the latter".
Steyn notes that in some cities in Europe, 40% of the babies are Muslim. That leads to 40% of the new voters in 20 years. And those twentysomething Muslims will constitute much more than 40% of all the new young parents shortly after that, because they'll be breeding while most of the Euroweenie twentysomethings will not be forming families, they will be backpacking and smoking up.
Think about those numbers. The Muslim population increase to significant numbers for political power will be swift. It will take fifty years or less.
