The Bush tax cuts are obviously disproportionately more helpful to the rich than the middle class. You sacrifice your integrity in arguing against that. Free Trade? You mean the root cause of hundreds of thousands of Americans losing their jobs to overseas firms, paying a nickle an hour to their employees, err slaves? The growth of the economy under the bush administration? Another joke. People need to realize that when someone loses their job at $20 an hour, and gets a new one at $10 an hour, this isn't helping anyone. Nobody of course, but the big money corporations on wall street. But this poor soul is still counted as a "job created". Also, lets not forget that when someone exhausts his unemployment compensation he is no longer considered unemployed. Ten people losing their benefits altogether would therefore count as ten less people unemployed. Thus a drop of unemployment rates can be boasted. It is sad what this country is coming to. And a little honesty in the media could only help. I am sorry that this cannot be found here.
