It is always interesting to note that it is Mike was is constantly being asked whether he would be the VP for Rudy. Interestingly enough, the reason Mike has not attacked Rudy is because he does not believe in attacking the other candidates. He will defend himself and make some witty remarks (Fred Thompson, realizing that his campaign has sadly gone nowhere, is trying to take Mike down because a lot of his supporters have gone to Mike Huckabee).

This GOP race is between 3 people: Rudy, Romney and Huckabee. Though we have yet to truly see it (based on polls), Huckabee has the largest reach for 2 reasons: one, he is not from the establishment (i.e. he is a populist candidate who has hit this point in his campaign because of a grassroots effort, and not corporate backing) and because he is a true conservative i.e. not one who talks about shrinking government to zero (which is part conservative, part libertarian) but wants the federal government to espouse issues like education without actually spending money and setting up large bureaucracies in Washington. He appeals to a lot of conservatives, independent and even some democrats (I cannot tell you how many democrats people have said that they would vote republican with Huckabee on the ballot).

I was looking into supporting Fred and Mitt, but now I do back Huckabee.
