"Now that the environment has been thoroughly degraded by corporate greed." Prove it. That assertion looks like total bunk to someone who enjoys backpacking on mountain trails. Perhaps you refer to Central Park in New York City, where the ponds are full of milfoil and stained by oil slicks, the trees are dying and leafless in June, the grass has disappeared, replaced by GreenieTurf, a grass simulation made out of old automobile tires, and a choking, grayish haze limits the three to four people who hazard the park to seeing no farther than 10 feet. But perhaps that Central Park does not exist, nor does the world in the mind of Grady Hendrix.
