Giuliani, Huckabee Emerge as Strange GOP Bedfellows

Submitted by Apolitical Blues, Nov 27, 2007 20:36

Many people forget that Huckabee hosted a fundraiser in Arkansas for Guliani's New York senate campaign way back in 2000 before Guliani dropped out due to cancer. The joke was that if Hillary could raise funds in Arkansas for a NY campaign then Guliani should have the same opportunity. They have earned each other's mutual admiration for their accomplishments while in office. They also realize that they are the candidates with the most executive experience on either side of this race.

And to the other Arkansan on this message board: Don't assume that you speak for all Arkansans when you try to denigrate Huckabee and his accomplishments as governor. He left this state in far better shape than the Clintons did.
