Jeff Van Gundy left the NYK because of Scott Layden's failure as a GM in terms of getting the right talent, and moving quickly to execute the necessary transactions to get the right talent to make the Knicks successful. It's time for Dolan to man up, bring Jeff Van Gundy back to coach this team. Jeff's commitment to building a successful team hungry to win, his discipline, and his ability to make the fanfare about winning v. himself is gthe right combination to restore the Knicks to greatness. His departure was probably not the greatest in terms of timing and delivery but I feel the NYK have demonstrated that they can't move beyond a coach like Van Gundy leaving. I say suck it up and bring the man who brought so much belief back to the Garden.
