Talks Are Set on Ending Battle of Iraq

Submitted by Broadsword, Nov 28, 2007 08:40

In 10 or 20 years is Iraq more likely to resemble North Korea or South Korea? It certainly won't go down the path towards Zimbabwe, or Cuba, or Haiti. Will Iran be more or less likely to suddenly nuke Tel Aviv, or Ankara or Rome with an outpost of Fort Bragg or Quantico within scowling distance? When Iraqi women exchange headscarfs for driving gloves and sunglasses, will Saudi women become more or less repressed? When Iraqi farms and agriculture begin shipping food to all their surrounding neighbors, and stability and prosperity begin to draw foreign investors into Iraq, will Egyptians and Iraniansand other repressed begin to more loudly demand for themseslves, a similar quagmire?
