HF,

you seem to forget some of the details laid out by this story.

1, the ACLU is not bound to return documents listed as Secret because some unscrupulous persons sent out to them.

2, The Federal Gov't is FOR the people, BY the People and OF the people. if the ACLU is "just another person", then they ARE the People and the Gov't has the obligation to report to them, just as they have the obligation to report to us.

3, The Federal Gov't is not at war as Congress has never made a declaration of war. Stop listening to the Hype and look at the facts. Whenever we have a president say we are at war with something or other, the result is there is no declaration of War, we send OUR Family members to die and it costs the US taxpayers a small fortune where nothing ever really gets done. Look at the History... War on Drugs- drugs are more rampant now then before ; War on illiteracy - our children are less literate than before; War on obesity - we now have the fattest country in the world and Finally, War on Terrorism - Our Rights are shredded, we put up with complete assults on those rights (think TSA at airports) and we're no safer Now than before.
