The reality is that kids are eating more and more junk foods in cafeterias. When I went to Keefe Tech High School, doughnuts and sugary snacks. Back then, I loved them. Today, I cringe on them.
On my point of view, it's not the meat or dairy products that are making kids sick, it's the burgers, fried foods, and sugary drinks that are making the kids sick. Everyone needs some red meat in the diet for iron, fish for omega 3s, and a wide variety of fruits, vegtables, and whole grains.
Vegetarian diets are downright unhealthy. Look, We heard eskimos are very healthy and they eat a lot of marine protein. South Africa drinks a lot of milk and meat, but they arn't overweight. And people say heere that we, Americans are eating "meat, milk, eggs, and dairy" products. Well, what about doughnuts, cakes, pizza, french fries, sugary drinks, fraps, and more? I think that the latter, not lean meat products, are the causes of diabetes today. So, if we switch from saturated fatty milk to sugary sodas, we'd be far worse off.
Sure, a little pumpkin pie (assuming that it's cooked in butter instead of partially hydrogenated soybean oil) in moderation is good for you, as it contains vitamin A. But a lot of little debbies snack foods, twinkies, fries, and red velvet cakes with thick frosting is not god. And That's what Americans are eating today.
An average American would chown down on a doughnut or a sausage-and-egg on a buscuit for breakfast, a latte for a morning drink, hambergurs and fries for lunch, snackwells cookies for a snack, pizza for dinner, and cake and ice cream for dessert. Fokes, That's what an average America eat. Junk food mania. Instead, a healthy day's food would be: a bowl of whole grain cereal sweetened with stevia for breakfast, a lean chicken (or sirloin) and vegtable sandwich on a whole grain bun or sub with carrots and celery for lunch, nuts for a snack, and fish and vegtables for dinner, with a fruit cup for dessert. That's what Americans should do now.
