The public voted on term limits--TWICE. I put my opinion in the Voter's Guide the second time (1996). The public's voice is clear.

The city council must respect the voting public. This is (supposedly) a representative democracy. No one should stand the city council unilaterally changing the will of the voters.

New York City Council--don't even think about it!
