Mr. Barra, why the consistent negativity towards Favre? Yes the Favre love expressed through out the media can be over the top - but its very hard to argue that this he's not having an entertaining, exciting and true comeback type of season at age 38. The supporting cast is much better and as a result he's playing in-control, disciplined football. Are you just angry that he didn't listen to your sage advice and hang it up two years ago as you urnged ( http://www.nysun.com/article/39685 ) ? Or that they've won a couple of games this year because of Brett instead of despite him ( http://www.nysun.com/article/62287 ) as you noted in Week 1 ?
You make every argument you can in favor of the Cowboys - the motivation I believe is you really really want Favre and the Packers to fail since you cannot stand the thought of Favre's actions on the field countering your history of dismissal of his accomplishments over the past few years.
I don't get it. You're a good read, most of the time, and you seem like a reasonable fellow. Why the hatin' for Our Favre ?
