How is it we continue to hear that NYC is defying national economic trends and continues to prosper. Then, there's the incrimental percentage (not cents-per-gallon) state tax on motor fuels and the "Gross" Receipts Tax on utility bills--all of which have continued to "skyrocket" income for the State, and yet the Governor cries deficit? Huh?
Please, somebody get out a calculator; this is otherwise called "fraud." And if not, call the Teachers; they got it all.
