I just google-searched for the spelling of naiveity (which still does not "look right" to me!) and this came up at the top of the page. A coincidence which we can choose to make meaningful - even if we disagree on what that "meaningfulness" might be.
The coincidence relates to vertical time, the repetition of patterns across time, the way we (human beings) enact rituals that maintain the status quo by honoring certain ideals in the ways we talk. The whole damn mess in Israel/Palestine belongs to each and every one of us: those who utter - or type - words on both "sides" and those who refrain from saying anything. The challenge, as my college students and I in the U.S. (along with others) keep trying to hash out, is whether what we say enables a chance for altering the present momentum or merely feeds into continuing the dynamics as they are.
