Sell the Whole Farm for Santana

Submitted by jc, Dec 1, 2007 13:10

Hughes is 21, it is already evident what he is capable of. Review back to the night in Texas before he blew out his hamstring he was tossing a perfect game. It can be aruged he was never fully healthy until that playoff game in which he came in for relief of Clemens and he did an outstanding job, a job worthy of being called an ace. If Hughes were to pitch for the Yankees this year he would probalby have at least 17 wins. Santana woudl have at least 20 wins. So its the decision of the Yankees management to decide whether its in the teams favor to trade a 21 year old for a 29 year old plus other prospects such as Melky. I say NO WAY. Let Boston give up there farm for him.
