Steyn's New Book Combines Humor, Accuracy, Depth
in response to reader comment: Alarmist but chilling

Andy Ross so childishly says "..cut off funds to Arab extremists by moving to nuclear power in a big way and fast. Islamists with no funding are a nuisance, not a threat to civilization as we know it..." First of all the followers of Islam are called Muslims. Funds or Oil money is not the life line nor the source of the revolting nations or group of people. Do we (common citizens) even know what is the conflict about. Many call them terrorist but they might be simply resisting and responding to aggressors. Do you think the Muslims want to leave their homes and relatives behind and migrate to Europe or West to take over somehow or to wage a war ? Countries whose population is shrinking, hence the tax collection is shrinking, have opened their doors to import new tax generators. Now the immigrants are made up of two groups, one that find more respect and value of their skills then their own country and second group of immigrants are coming for peaceful life as their own countries have been shattered and disturbed due to wars and conflicts. But listen to this.. if the media, politicians and even co-citizens start blaming and punishing a group wrongly so, then the reaction can be anything. They might change their original plan to live peacefully. Actually I know many who went back to their countries from west and even europe for good.. wonder why ?
