New York in Danger of Losing Its Artists

Affordable housing is needed not only for aging artists but also for teachers, policeman, firefighters, nurses. I am a physician and I couldn't afford apt. in NYC larger then 1000 sqf. Mr. Bloomberg, Doctoroff and the developers have a plan to populate the City with foreign wealthy mafiozos and bankers. The generous tax abatment program protect them and provide with needed tax break at the expense of you and I who pay taxes via out payroll and property tax. On weekend Bloomberg burn some carbon and fly to his exotic Islands to wine and dine his wealthy friends and discuss tax abatment for future wealthy offsprings. It is about time for the public to resist this policy of tax break to the wealthy.
