Lower legal fees? You just keep telling yourself that Michael R. The fact is, as law firms continue to raise salaries for incoming associates, it will take a heck of a lot more for fees to come down. Supply and demand isn't quite so simple when (unlike popular belief) young lawyers are not as interchangeable as widgets. As competition for the top students continues to rise, as will those students salaries, this will counter whatever affect the excess lawyers in the field will bring. Trust me. The day your legal fees are lowered is the day hell will freeze over.
