To respond to ms.kaskel on stable conditions,it amazes me that such accusations can be made when all 5 stables passed inspections.Even CBS news, stated they somehow did a hidden camera investigation and 4 stables looked very good,1 was questionable. My stable was 1 of them that looked very good.I am extremly proud of every 1 of my horses, and donate them every week for handicap riding done at my stable, with certified riding instructors that use my horses. No way would these professionals put their reputation on the line to use a horse that was less than perfect.I have no problem with these extremists that think what they want to think, its their opinion not to like working animals, just as its my right to own,and operate a working horse stable, but it is unfair to lie and decipt the public to try to make them believe your view. Also, these accusations are just that, none of theses accusers have been in our stable, and frankly if they were reasonable people,i would invite them into my barn,i have at least 30 volenteers every week that assist in our riding program and they love our facility. My horses, and ponies worked at the Metropolitan Opera House over 15 yrs, these animals would certainly not be in these shows i they looked anything like these extremists say. Also my Father, owner of Chateau Stables, worked as the caregiver to NYC Mounted Police 33 yrs,his reputation is still legend and highly respected for love and dedication he gave his animals,as well as the City's Police Horses. So in this case miss kaskel is "missing the point".
