"He has strictly said in his Word, the Bible, that to lie with another man is an abomination..."

A more accurate statement would be to say that the tribe depicted in Leviticus said that lying with a man was "ritually unclean" (in Hebrew it is not such a strong word as your version of the translation). They used the same word to describe haircuts, eating shrimp and wearing mixed-fabric clothes.
Nobody I've ever met in my entire life lives by their superstitious set of rules, which also mandated murdering children if they swore, and making animal sacrifices on mountaintops for several days at a time to atone for touching a woman during her monthly period.
It's the 21st century, and we understand a lot more today. We're not throwing virgins into volcanoes anymore, we know the earth really is round and it's not a sin to say so, and anyone who's paying attention understands that loving couples of the same sex aren't a threat to anybody.
