Larry Seabrook is an arrogant pipsqueak if he has the nerve to say a job that pays a hundred twelve grand a year plus "lu-lu's" amounts to his having taken a vow of poverty. Can I vote myself a 25 percent raise? If I had his kind of nerve in my teeth, I'd be bedridden. Mind you, he asked for this job, begged around for votes to get it. Seabrook should put in a full weeks work like any of his constituents has to (and I'll wager most of 'em do it for a good deal less, at that.) Then, spend his spare time kissing the fingers of every New Yorker he runs across to thank them for such a cozy little swindle at their expense.
