This is a note just to let you know how disappointed I was after reading your "review" on the excellent Mexican film El Violin.
Not only it is clear that you didn't get the point of the movie, but even dared making awful -insensitive- remarks that showed contempt and complete ignorance to other cultures (i.e. nice old man named Don Plutarco [spelled this way on almost every website found. Never spelled with an h] ... Why should names in other countries be spelled the way you are used to? Is English the only language on Earth? Besides, that little "nugget" adds absolutely nothing to your so-called review.
You say "Maybe it's me, but this film was boring" so I suppose you are one of those into action movies (Spiderman, Fast and the Furious, etc.) which is fine, but it is clear that stating the film was "boring" was just a simple, and lazy, way to avoid making a more elaborate review of such a rich and complex movie: you just didn't understand the film. That's all.
Oh, and by the way, if you're so touchy about correct spelling, you might want to run a correction on the part where you mention the old man's son "Genero" who is actually called Genaro.
