There was another term conceived by an LDotter... (Lucianne.com), and that's "Presstitute," what an apt moniker for the whores of the fourth estate Babylon (Note: "Babylon" is any place of sin and corruption.)
It's no wonder the MSM advertising revenue, readership/viewers, ratings are in an alarming freefall, the AP, NYT, WAPO and alphabet networks routinely fabricate stories or distort facts to manipulate opinion augmented by "anonymous sources."
Editor& Publisher released a poll on the most admired professions; the results clearly demonstrated that "most" American's have concluded the media is corrupt and dishonest; rating their popularity at twenty four percent, just above the first oldest profession, congressmen, (Senate 17%, House 16%) salesman 6% and telemarketers 3%).
One interesting note however, the Demoncrats polled trusted the accuracy of media by five to one over Republican respondents...witness November 7, 2006 election returns and stand by for the resulting collapse of America as you knew and loved her in more nationalistic and conservative times (80's).
