L'Affaire Némirovsky
in response to reader comment: Extraordinary: a text book on lessons people fail to learn

Submitted by D. Jessup, Dec 8, 2007 14:16

Sir Joshua, please don't base your interpretation of the book from the cover our other peoples' reviews. It is an incredible saga. The author has the ability to get under the skin even of her minor characters, rendering their weaknesses as well as their triumphs human and understandable. This is not so much a book about social psychology as it is about people and how they react to unseemly events. Again, please read the book.
