Charter School's Caribbean Rewards Are Criticized

Submitted by Doris Thomas, Dec 8, 2007 16:02

The trips to the Caribbean are considered incentives for teachers to continue improvements in educational practices. Trips are educational experiences and should become apart of the geography curriculum for professional development credits. The entire school faculty should be entitled to trips in the Caribbean. Secondly, when corporate america give bonuses to their employees, they provide monetary bonuses, vacations, and stock options for a job well done. Charter schools should mirror some of the practices of Corporate America. You will get better results from teachers and students nationwide.
