My guess is they will repel the new oil tax in the the new energy bill, tax top earners @$200,000( which over the past 7 years is more like 100k). First thing we need is to make sure of is that this Oil tax on oil revenues is not removed from our 2007 energy bill. The Senate has stalled on it right away. The government needs to stand up for the people and cut some of the fat out of $100 a barrel oil prices simultaneously.
Largest oil revenues ever, a war we can't pay for and one of our greatest cities floundering on the brink of destruction, Not only are the Oil companies poisoning our air, land and water for their bottom line but they are obviously poisoning our Democracy. What amazes me most is that this war over oil in the middle east isn't even going directly back to the American tax payers. It's all going towards Pappa Bushes Arabian business ties,

I bet the Oil execs are going to have a nice Christmas. How about you?
