Lebanon Postpones Vote To Elect a President

Submitted by Bob, Dec 11, 2007 02:49

Michel Aoun was exiled for 15 years because he opposed syria while the so called "anti syrians" were in power filling their pockets for 15 years. They took him to court for testifying before US COngress and the UN against the syrian occupation; and then jumped ship to the anti srian bandwagon when Aoun succeeded in Liberation Lebanon.

saniora, hariri et al allied with hizballa in the 2005 elections, they formed a government with them and legitimised hizballa's weapons. Till this moment they are begging hizballa ministers to return to cabinet;

Aoun signed a Memorandum of Understaning with Hizballa that involved disarming the group; yet the international community wants a pawn that can be prosyrian, pro israeli, pro us, pro russianl, pro iranian & pro suaid depending which driection the wind is blowing.

They do not want a genuine Lebanese like Michel Aoun that can bring peace & stability to Lebanon and the region.
