Umm - the Charlotte Coliseum has been abandoned. The new one is called Bobcats Arena. It is one of the premier facilities in the NBA and NHL.

Same goes for Dallas. The green-seat dump once called Reunion Arena was abandoned long ago - making room for the top-of-the-line, host of the 2007 NHL All Star Game, American Airlines Center.

The first paragraphs of your article seem to suggest that you didn't know about either of these buildings.
