This is just another horrible example of someone trying to make money instead of taking responsibility for their own decision and actions! Everything that happens today MUST be the fault of someone else, and hey, they can make 10 million dollars on it. Ms. Smith was not forced to take that dog! The officer should not have given it to her for sure, but that was a bad decision of one man that was trying to do something good.

What a waste and ripoff of taxpayers' money! You all should be angry!
