Preaching A Gospel Of Hate
in response to reader comment: Amen, brothers

Every morning I wake up and pick up the newspaper. There's not a day that goes by that I'm not shocked by the hate and horrifying callousness of people everywhere in the world. But it's not the ones in far off lands killing people to prove a point that scares me the most. I've heard that story so much, I'm afraid the cut can't get any deeper. It's the fact that many of the real monsters live just like me, and not far from me. I don't understand, and may never understand, what kind of unspeakable thing would drive people to take intolerance to such perverse levels. Put aside every belief we have, and we are all the same. Differences in our skin, our sexuality, it all comes down to our genetics; to biology which can be proven. Who are they to judge other people, when they can't justify themselves.
