Well, Jeff, I think you made some stuff up. This is not a war of conquest. If it was, Iraq would have been a state in three weeks flat. Second, even if it was a war of conquest, it wouldn't be our first. Third, there is no way you can know that the scenarios Bush used to justify the war are false, because we destroyed Saddam and liberated Iraq. NOBODY knows what would have happened if we didn't go in. To say that they're false is no different than writing an alternate history novel. Also, the President was very likely unaware of many things that happened over the course of his administration. See, he's only one person managing a nation of over 300 million. There's no way he can know everything that goes on in government. As for whether or not he's reshaped the truth, I simply believe that he's not.. There are two sides illustrated in the media, and if you're uneducated, you'll simply pick one.
