Cities Can't Handle Cost of the NFL

Hi MJ,

New Jersey is paying for infrastructure for the new stadium and through various tax breaks, the Jets-Giants corp managing the stadium is paying maybe one thieteenth of what it should be paying annual to East Rutherford and East Rutherford officials are not very happy. The Jets-Giants will be selling naming rights to recoup their investment much like Fred Wilpon is doing with the Mets. By the way, New York City is paying and paying and paying on those two new stadiums, why should sports owners pay for facilities when there are willing politicians?
