What prompted me to read this article was that my son was in his 9th grade class and was excited about a cure for Sickle Cell Anemia. My son has SS and we read different articles or see what's in the news about it. Although research is so new, how promising this must sound and it's a wonderful thing that someone is trying to find a cure, I hope that you would continue your research. We really do need a cure for this terrible delibitating disease. Thank you for all that you do. Mother of two with SS.
