Rockets Hit Israeli Town As Jerusalem Talks Begin

How much longer will these nonsensical meetings take place? Obviously, Hamas does not want to see the Annapolis talks succeed, as it would be marginalized by any agreement between Fatah/Abbas and Israel/Olmert. That any agreements to set up a Palestinian homeland in the landlocked discontiguous west bank when the logical trading partners of those living there - Israel - are the mortal enemies of those living in the west bank is apparently a discussion for another day. Israel, and the world, have to stop supporting the fiction of a viable Palestinian homeland. Instead, some way should be found to return most or some of the west bank to Jordan, then buy off enough of the Sinai from Egypt to effectively surround the Gaza strip with Israel so that no weapons and terrorists can be smuggled in from the Sinai, and starve Hamastan into submission. There are many ways to fight a war - that there is a war between Hamas and Israel should not be open to question at this point. Israel has nearly ceded its southern town of Sderot to the rocketeers of Hamastan. It can ill-afford to give up territory and should launch an invasion to end such attacks permanently and decisively, whatever the cost to Hamas and Gaza. Enough already.
