first of al after refusing rent and endlessly harassibg on pet grounds - three cats -who have since died- pets that the landlord knew i was moving in with -the health dept. was called an gave the hall and area a clean bill of health made it clear thet they would not renew lease on gounds studio was not controlled rent wise but mine was not a business lease but an artist in residence lease and carnegie halls charter with the city states artists are to have studios there -carnegie hall corporation has lease with the city as well as a charter stating a certain percentage of leases are to be visual artists - i am a sculptress doing small clay sculptures---to refuse rent is against a specifice law and subjects the landlord to an enormous fine -especiallt right in-the middle of a lease -not the tenant to a repayment and eviction. This was coupeled with a swastika on my door- a hate crime. Alas , ther is no time limit on fraudulent evictions with to a tenat lawsuit not to mention criminal harasssment. For all tenants. Carnegie HALL corp. has to be within the law or face possible legal consequences themselves.
