Christian Leader: Romney's Mormon Faith Could Hinder Presidential Bid

Romney's Judgment
Some people say we should worry about Mitt Romney's judgment because of his LDS / Mormon beliefs. There is some truth to this as how much stake should we put in someone who continues to believe something that is demonstrably false. No this is different than faith. You can have faith in God, the trinity, the resurrection, etc... just someone try to prove it false! You can't prove it definitively true either, but that's what makes it a good candidate for a "matter of faith." Mormons, however, believe things that are demonstrably false and continue to believe so even if you present clear, definitive facts before them. Romney held Mormon leadership positions as a bishop and stake leader - he was a high ranking leader, a teacher, and an enforcer of these beliefs. Let's just say, he knows them well and hasn't seemed to argue with their false tenets or even try to reform their racist beliefs.

Romney's Deceptive Responses
What really worries me is that I've caught Romney in so many lies during interviews and in town hall meetings that it sickens me. Luckily the average American knows little of his religion and he can give half truths or deceptive answers and Americans buy it. I'm even disappointed in the journalists in America, that are so unprepared to ask Romney questions; they accept anything he says as true. I've been a researched the LDS Church for years and it has some amazing people, but unfortunately they are tethered to a religion that is grounded in serious fallacies, even down to its founder and subsequent prophets.

Funny how Huckabee just got chastised for his "Don't they believe Satan is Jesus' brother." Mormons do believe that Lucifer is the brother of Jesus, that is absolutely correct. Ask them directly, but make sure you phrase the question as a yes/no answer, other wise they will just say "he is a fallen angel." So are you saying that Christians can't ask that question OR they shouldn't ask it because the answer is embarrassing for Mormons. If it's true... if it's a Mormon doctrine, what's wrong with question? Imagine if you asked a Christian if they believed in the trinity and instead they responded "shut up and don't ask such a thing!" Come on Mitt, just answer the questions. You think this is rough, just wait until the elections nears. The kid gloves are coming off. If you want academic information that you can trust and is verified through links directly to their LDS sources check out ExposeRomney.com We stand by all our doctrinal statements; we even have LDS editors to ensure we are factual in how the religion is taught and how it is practiced.
