For Whom the Bell Tolls

I would like to thank the Ney York Sun for bringing attention to the sorry state of Britain to an American audience.I had almost given up hope that anyone really cared about the creeping sell out of Britain to an undemocratic "European State". We were given only one vote on the then Common Market in the 1970s and that was for a common trading agreement (similar to NAFTA). Today 80% of our laws are made in Brussels by unelected quangos. Britains ancient Parliament is almost defunct - and if this treaty is ratified, we will no longer be a democratic independent nation. England will be the hardest hit as the European plan is to divide it up into regions with unelected assemblies to implement European directives.

Churchill must be spinning in his grave.
