Of course hispanics are going to oppose tough immigration tactics! Would a bank robber be thrilled if the bank he was targeting hired more guards and installed a better vault? Seems legal hispanics will always sympathize and rally with the illegals in a show of solidarity. Personally, I don't care how many illegals/hispanics are angered, resentful or in opposition with enhanced/increased immigration enforcement. Most have been here long enough to change their illegal status and learn enough conversational english to get by. They can't be bothered, so my sympathy meter is at "zero." I don't recall anybody polling me to get my opinion on this immigration mess and how it has negatively impacted me. Personally, these illegals shgouldn't have even been offered ANY forum to vent their anger/frustrations. I WANT them looking over their shoulder. I WANT them to fear deportation/discovery. I WANT it to be difficult for them to be here illegally. Isn't that the desired outcome of any crackdown? These illegals along with their arrogance, threats, demands, inflated sense of entitlement(s) have created this very climate they they are now angry and frustrated at. They did it by themselves, with the help of La Raza, MEchA, MALDEFF, LULAC, et al. Americans by and large are pretty fed up with it and have rolled up the welcome mat, saying "no mas." If I were here illegally, I would self deport and get out now while the getting is good because it won't get any better or easier for them. They brought this attention and resent on themselves.
