Activists To Press for School Nativity Scene Displays

I have nothing but sympathy for administrators in schools, cities and boroughs. There's no way to make even a significant minority happy! I can understand wanting to have your particular holiday celebrated, but why do we have to bust the chops of every teacher who's just trying to get the kids to pass their exams? It would be nice if we'd let the parents organize a pageant, explanatory session or something similar to let all of the kids who wanted to attend the voluntary, after-school event explaining their beliefs, but I can't imagine even that would pass muster. Let's keep the Christ in Christmas...at our churches and homes and religious schools. Other than that, let's keep the scholarship in schools. Ugh! Susan Meagher
