I agree there are problems with the reader, but I have the same gut reaction to this that I had to the Nomad 6 years ago. The nomad was a cd player shaped device that held several gigs of music. My friends all thought I was nuts to want one, and now most have iPods. I think this is the future. The idea i could travel with several books in a small device thrills me. Also the previous comment about text books is right on. I don't think this device is quite there, but think it will be in the future.
